Dear Friends, 
We have pledged to support Operation Smile Canada and children around the world affected by cleft lip, cleft palate, and other facial deformities. Funds raised will allow Operation Smile Canada and their network of medical volunteers to provide free life-changing surgeries and transform lives around the world. 

1 out of 500-700 children are born with a cleft condition, and whereas this can easily be fixed with surgery a few months after birth in countries like Canada or the United States, there are millions of children in different countries who have to live with this condition untreated. They often have difficulty eating, breathing, speaking and, importantly, being accepted by their peers and communities. So many are enduring pain and exclusion from their peers, gradually losing confidence.
